I ran my first ever 10k and it would never have happened unless my good friend, Bekah, hadn't challenged me. I thought that I hated running, but what I hated was how hard it was, which meant I was out of shape. Once I was deep in the training, I realized how much I loved running and I want to run more races. Maybe a Half Marathon? That might be too much. We ran the Cowtown and finished in a little over an hour in the top 25% of all females! Not too bad for our first race!
