October Sewing

My dear friend, Lisa Kile, bought me a pleater out of the blue. I was completely dumbstruck and could barely talk. I was blown away by her generosity. Not only did she buy me a pleater, but she bought me some fabric and a pattern to make this cute Halloween spider dress. Then she took me and my children out for lunch. She is like another mother to me and has treated my family and my children like her own. I am so grateful to have her in my life!

Happy October!

Southside Annual Campout

We look forward to the Southside camp out every year! It was really fun except for being freezing cold. We were not prepared. I pretty much wore the same sweatpants from the first night until the third day. Will enjoyed throwing rocks in the lake, playing baseball, and running crazy with his friends. Reese laid down almost immediatley in the sand and rolled around. She loves to get dirty! It is an exhausting weekend but totally worth it.

These two friends are the sweetest!

Back to Abilene

We drove back to Abilene to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's and to go to classes at ACU's Summit.

Reese and Harper

Reese loves to give hugs. She hugs everything! Even her milk. Harper had one too many hugs.

I can't believe this little boy may be old enough to play baseball next season!
