Reese - 7 Months

Dear Reese,

Today, you are seven months old and you weigh 18 pounds. It is so easy to make you smile and you giggle all the time. You are a happy, easy-going baby.

This last month, you said your first word: "Dada" I'm working really hard for you to say "Mama" soon.

You are able to sit up all by yourself and you rarely fall over. You are getting so strong!

You have discovered your hands and you like to wave them in front of you and study them. You still put everything in your mouth.

You started eating solid foods this month. You really don't like rice cereal, but you like apples, bananas, peaches, and carrots. You sleep all night long now. Yay!!! You go to bed at 7:30PM; we wake you up at 10:00 to eat your final meal, and then you go back to bed and sleep until 7:30AM. It is awesome!

You can put yourself to sleep now. We just wrap you up in a blanket, read you a book, say a prayer and then put you in your crib. The downside is you don't want to sleep in our arms anymore. I miss that a lot.

You love to give big, wet kisses.

You love to watch Will play. If you can hear his voice, you are craning your head to find him.

I found a tiny ring of brown around your pupil. I guess that means that your blue eyes are finally going to turn brown.

You have started a high pitch scream; just like your brother.

Done.
We love you Reese so, so much! You are a joy to be around.
