The Zoo, Halloween, & More

We had a busy week last week. Last Thursday, we took Will to the zoo. Last Christmas, Matthew's sweet Aunt Debby gave him two tickets to the zoo and we are just now finally getting around to using them. Will went to the zoo when he was an infant, but this was his first time as a toddler. He loved it!

Will wanted to ride the carousel at the zoo, but once it started going he got wide-eyed and started shaking his head no. He was clutched onto me for dear life. After it was all said and done, I couldn't tell if he loved it or hated it.

Then, on Saturday we had the Greenlee Family Reunion to attend. Will loved getting to see his grandparents, aunts, and cousins.

My mom decided to stay with us for a few days after the reunion. It was so nice to have here. She gave me a much needed break by chasing after Will, helping feed him and change his diapers. We loved the zoo so much last week that we had to go again.

He did not want to get out of this little car

For Halloween, our church did a Trunk or Treat. Tons of kids showed up and we quickly ran out of candy. I love seeing all of the kids in their costumes. The Kiles brought a scary skeleton that lit up and made spooky noises. Will and I went over to check it out. Whenever they turned it on, you could tell that he was really scared and would shake his head no, but as soon as it turned off, he signed "more, more."
